Disseminating knowledge among youngsters is the most sacred duty and objective of a teacher. I adopted the teaching profession immediately after completing my MBA in 2004 and joined Guru Nanak Institute of Management and technology as a lecturer. In this college, I was offered both Undergraduation and Post Graduation courses at the beginning of my career. In this process, I gained proficiency in teaching business and legal environments, corporate strategy, project preparation, branding and marketing (including political marketing) of various products. Linking theoretical knowledge with practical application broadens my horizon as well as that of my students. It is my passion now to make aware of my students about the latest on the subject, whether it may be a business policy or legal act. The positive response of my students encouraged me to gain knowledge and further disseminate it.
Having achieved satisfaction in teaching, students’ thoughts occurred to me that why not this pool of knowledge may further be shared with the masses. I am using social and print media for this purpose. To start with video talks(10-12 mins) were prepared for the current issues being faced by society and their probable solutions are also suggested. Likewise, various articles are also written in Punjabi language newspapers so that their reach can be made to the rural areas also.
